Provide First Aid
HLTAID011
This course applies to a wide range of settings where first aid emergencies may occur. It covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation, other emergency life support skills plus a range of additional topics in first aid for trauma and common medical conditions.
Participants will need the ability to meet the physical demands of providing first aid, including provision of CPR on the floor. It is also recommended that participants have language, literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to level 2 of the Australian Core Skill Framework.
